Role Overview: Bilingual AI Training

Crossing Hurdles is seeking specialized Translators to serve as Bilingual AI Trainers. This is a high-impact remote role where you will directly influence the development of Large Language Models (LLMs). Unlike traditional translation, this role focuses on teaching AI to understand nuances, culture, and intent, ensuring that machine outputs are natural and contextually accurate.

Core Responsibilities & AI Reinforcement

• Translation & Localization: Translating complex texts between language pairs while maintaining cultural and linguistic integrity.

• RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback): Ranking and evaluating AI-generated responses based on accuracy, tone, and safety.

• Annotation & Correction: Reviewing AI outputs and providing structured feedback or corrections to improve the model’s performance over time.

• Nuance Analysis: Evaluating the “naturalness” of language, ensuring the AI understands sarcasm, formal vs. informal registers, and regional dialects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Linguistic Mastery: Native or near-native proficiency in at least two languages with exceptional written communication skills.

• Cultural Competency: A deep understanding of regional idioms, social norms, and linguistic nuances.

• Technical Savvy: Comfortable working with digital dashboards, annotation platforms, and structured feedback tools.

• Detail Oriented: High precision in identifying subtle errors in logic, grammar, or tone in AI-generated text.
