Role Mission & Strategic Integration
UCSF Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Coordinator to provide high-level analytical and operational support for the Community Hospital Division. This role is the central liaison between UCSF Health and external partners like Optum360 and Dignity Health. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless operational integration, managing Transitional Services Agreement (TSA) functions, and optimizing the financial health of the enterprise.
Core Responsibilities & Revenue Optimization

External Liaison: Acting as the primary point of coordination for billing, collections, and cash management between UCSF and external partners.

A/R Analysis: Leading the analysis of accounts receivable (A/R) and providing reporting to leadership to identify optimization opportunities.

Cash Reconciliation: Ensuring accurate EDI support and cash reconciliation across the Community Hospital Division.

Subject Matter Expertise: Providing guidance on revenue cycle best practices, including insurance identification, payment posting, and refund processing.
Required Qualifications

Professional Experience: 5-7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, financial analysis, or hospital billing operations.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in healthcare billing systems, EDI, and complex data analysis.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
