Core Responsibilities & Patient Care

Specialized Assessments: Managing complex medical cases including post-operative craniotomies, cerebral aneurysms, intracranial hemorrhages, and severe spinal cord injuries.

Technical Expertise: Performing tracheostomy care, Doppler usage, and assessing free flaps for surgical recovery.

Critical Condition Management: Treating conditions such as Status Epilepticus, Myasthenia Gravis, and Guillain-Barre syndrome with advanced monitoring.

Collaborative Practice: Working within a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and life-saving interventions.
Required Qualifications

Licensure: Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).

Skills: Ability to handle high-stress environments, excellent clinical judgment, and effective communication skills.

Commitment: Willingness to rotate to designated units during low census and participate in every-other-weekend rotations.
