Mission and Educational Transformation

Alpha School is rewriting the rules of traditional education, and we are seeking a Director of Community Engagement to lead this learning rebellion. In this role, you will be the primary architect of the relationship between Alpha and the families we serve. Our model is fundamentally different: students master core academics in just two hours daily using AI-driven platforms, leaving the rest of the day for real-world competencies like public speaking and collaborative problem-solving. Your mission is to lead families toward this reimagined approach to education and demonstrate that a superior alternative to conventional schooling exists.

Core Responsibilities and Engagement Strategy

• Enrollment Leadership: Spearheading efforts to expand campus enrollment and converting curiosity into committed waitlist engagement through persuasive information sessions.

• Relationship Management: Serving as the public face of the assigned campus and acting as the primary liaison for families throughout their entire Alpha experience.

• Community Advocacy: Cultivating deep trust within the local community and transforming parents into vocal proponents and advocates of the Alpha educational model.

• Operational Autonomy: Managing concerns, fostering long-term loyalty, and delivering measurable results in enrollment growth and student retention without relying on predetermined scripts.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

• Communication Mastery: Exceptional persuasive speaking and writing skills, with the ability to build high-trust relationships with high-achieving families.

• Professional Background: Proven track record in community engagement, sales, or recruitment, ideally within an innovative or high-growth environment.

• Mindset: A strong conviction that traditional schooling is inadequate and a passion for AI-driven, project-based learning.

• Logistics: Willingness to maintain a consistent on-site presence and travel locally as circumstances dictate (relocation support is provided).

Compensation and Contractor Benefits

• Annual Pay: This is a full-time, long-term position paying $100 USD per hour, which equates to a $200,000 USD annual salary.

• Payment Structure: Payments are processed weekly through the Crossover platform under an independent contractor agreement.

• Location Flexibility: While this specific post is for Roswell, Alpha is hiring across major hubs including San Francisco, New York City, and Houston.
