This role focuses exclusively on the management of acute neurological conditions within the hospital setting. As a key member of the medical staff, you will provide expert consultations, rapid diagnostic assessments, and coordinated care for patients with complex neurological needs.
Core Responsibilities & Clinical Scope

Acute Management: Leading the diagnosis and treatment of acute neurological disorders, including stroke, status epilepticus, and neuro-inflammatory crises.

Multidisciplinary Coordination: Collaborating with neurosurgery, critical care, and rehabilitation teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimized outcomes.

Consultative Services: Providing expert neurological assessments for patients admitted to other hospital services (ICU, Medicine, Surgery).

Efficiency & Quality: Managing timely discharge planning and participating in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care protocols.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) and successful completion of an accredited Neurology residency.

Licensure: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; eligible for a medical license in the State of Ohio.

Clinical Judgment: Strong diagnostic skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to lead multidisciplinary rounds and communicate with patients’ families.
