Role Overview: Logistics & Customer Support

TForce Freight is seeking a Service Center Clerk to act as a vital link in our Charlotte logistics hub. This position is responsible for high-accuracy administrative tasks that keep our freight moving efficiently. You will manage the documentation for cargo, handle customer inquiries regarding shipments, and coordinate directly with dispatch offices to ensure load schedules are maintained.

Core Responsibilities & Dispatch Coordination

  • Shipment Tracking & Tracing: Monitoring the movement of freight and providing accurate updates to customers regarding shortages, damages, or claims.

  • Dispatch Collaboration: Working closely with both central and local dispatch offices to manage and optimize load schedules for the fleet.

  • Financial Documentation: Reviewing invoices for accuracy and performing critical data entry, such as keying bills directly from shipment manifests.

  • Customer Service: Responding to professional inquiries regarding rate quotes, delivery appointments, and general freight coverage procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

  • Age/Legal: Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in basic computer functions and data entry with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Soft Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment and manage multiple paperwork streams simultaneously.
